What You'll Do:
In this dual role, you'll not only lead but also work alongside your team to ensure our multifamily property runs smoothly. You'll supervise a fellow maintenance technician, tackling daily maintenance tasks, unit turnovers, and ensuring every apartment is in pristine condition for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:Daily Maintenance Tasks: Engage in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs throughout the property.Unit Turnovers: Actively participate in making units ready for new residents, ensuring quick and efficient turnovers.Team Leadership: Mentor and support your team, setting high standards for performance and communication.Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with outside contractors, overseeing their work to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.Emergency Response: Join the on-call rotation, responding swiftly to urgent maintenance needs and implementing emergency procedures.
What We're Looking For:Proven experience in property maintenance with strong skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry.A leader who inspires their team through example and collaboration.Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.Excellent communication skills and a commitment to outstanding customer service.Valid certifications, including a Certified Pool Operator (CPO) and EPA certification.
