DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

Ambulatory and Allied Care Services Administrator of Harborview Medical Center.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

Provides executive level assistance and administrative support to Administrators of Ambulatory and Allied Care Services

Ensure effective department operations by executive level support in a highly confidential and professional manner using a high degree of tact,discretion, diplomacy, and independence

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Complex scheduling

Draft well-written responses to routine correspondence for HMC executives and administrator

Provide project support, including researching policy areas, scheduling, managing project documentation and deadlines, and participating in planning efforts

Review of budgets and provide high level analysis of variance to senior leadership

Record keeping, preparing reports, tracking expenditures, development of communication materials, presentations, and job aid

Serve as the primary point of contact to ensure information, process, or policy updates are communicated to the appropriate staff and provider audiences

Drafts meeting and committee agendas, takes minutes and tracks follow-up actions for completion

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree

Prior experience in large academic center supporting multiple administrators

Demonstrate experience of progressively responsible administrative/project coordination for a large, complex organization and supporting HMC Administrators

Attitude, demeanor and commitment, that reflects UW Service Culture Guidelines

Equivalent experience may substitute for degree requirement
