Nucor Buildings Group is seeking a dedicated Support Analyst. In this role, you will troubleshoot software issues, support product development, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enhanced products and solutions. You'll play a vital part in maintaining database accuracy, providing technical support to customers, and working within an Agile framework. Basic Job Functions:Test and Troubleshoot MBS Program Revisions: Identify and resolve issues with MBS software updates, ensuring seamless implementations for all customers. Drive Product and Process Development: Lead the development and execution of new or enhanced products, processes, and tools that add value to the business. Produce High-Quality Documentation: Participate in creating and reviewing detailed documentation that supports testing, processes, and guidelines to maintain high-quality standards. Maintain Accurate Databases: Help manage and update databases used by MBS to price, design, and detail projects with precision. Assist with Support Requests: Respond to technical support inquiries and collaborate with the Software Support Team to resolve customer issues effectively. Provide MBS Technical Support: Act as a resource for customers, offering technical support and solutions for the Metal Buildings Software. Follow Agile Methodology: Engage in daily stand-ups, planning meetings, and retrospectives as part of the agile framework, while remaining flexible to changing business needs. Collaborate on Project Scheduling and Targets: Work closely with team members to define project goals, timelines, and responsibilities, ensuring that deadlines and commitments are met. Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with the Supervisor to identify and address skill or knowledge gaps within the team, contributing to continuous improvement. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Familiarity with software development processes and methodologies (Agile experience is a plus) Position requires availability to travel occasionally for up to one week.
