About the job Production Operator
We are currently seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our team in the plastic manufacturing industry. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Production Operator will be responsible for handling various production tasks to ensure efficient operations within the department. This role involves setting up and operating production equipment, performing routine maintenance, and collaborating with team members to optimize production processes.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Set up and operate production equipment according to standard operating procedures.Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met.Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications.Maintain accurate records of production activities, equipment maintenance, and any issues encountered.Inspect and package product in preparation for shipments.Replenish stock accordingly.Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations related to production operations.Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and overall operational efficiency.Skills/Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.Proven experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in the plastic industry.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members.Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and precision.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Working Hours: 6:15 a.m. - 3:15 m.or 2:45 a.m.11:30 p.m.
