Seeking Seasonal Full Time Christmas Fundraiser Coordinator/Driver to join our Jamestown Corps

SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Coordinate The Salvation Army’s effort to schedule volunteers (individuals, groups or businesses) to ring bells at area stores/malls during the annual Red Kettle Campaign. The Kettle Coordinator is a key contributor to the success of the Red Kettle Campaign, which raises money for programs and services of The Salvation Army .
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Friendly phone contact with Red Kettle Campaign volunteer bell ringers.
Use Red Kettle database to schedule volunteers to ring bells at specific times and locations.
Data entry in a multi-step process.
Manage the Red Kettle Hotline and Red Kettle email address for data entry into the Red Kettle database. Enter volunteer data into the Call Center.
Manage the daily printing and mailing of Volunteer schedules and FAQs.
Daily printing of Driver route sheets.
Drive kettle workers to stand when needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
SPECIAL SKILLS, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS :
List any special skills, licenses, certificates, or registrations that are required to perform the essential duties of this job
· Great communication and people skills.
· The ability to work quickly with strong attention to detail.
· Proficiency working in Microsoft Window environment.
· Reliability.
· Must have a valid driver’s license
