You will be a member of the program leadership and will drive and guide the team to design and support superior solutions for the client. You will ensure that the design is performed correctly the first time with consideration for the integration and interplay between all components and systems.
Drives team to design, plan, deliver and run the platform as per required architecture and agreed timelines
Ensures platform remains in support and adhered to corporate policies and standards
Communicates system architecture to technical and business audiences.
Demonstrates an understanding of FIS systems and the financial services industry.
Ensures documentation of appropriate architecture principles and standards, position papers, blueprints, best practices, patterns and frameworks.
Defines and maintains a catalogue of reusable functional application components consumable across FIS applications and product lines.
Reviews functional and technical designs to identify areas of risk and/or missing requirements
Partners with enterprise teams to design and deliver leveraged solutions
Acts as tie breaker on design decisions.
Documents and communicates opportunities to leverage inter-project synergies, application and enterprise software or infrastructure asset re-use and opportunities to expose application assets for enterprise consumption.
Other related duties assigned as needed.
What you bring:Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
Requires the following experience or equivalent combination of education and experience as a minimum:
Must be a strong people and team manager with proven experience of leading architecture and engineering teams to design, build and support technology platforms
Must have led technology direction for multiple projects and led or presented architecture concepts outside realm of immediate workgroup
In-depth knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles including waterfall, iterative and other modern approaches to software development
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors
Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team and time management skills
In-depth knowledge of FIS products and services and of the financial services industry
Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles, i.e., waterfall, iterative and other modern approaches to software development
Excellent customer service skills that build high levels of customer satisfaction for internal and external customers
Willingly shares relevant technical and/or industry knowledge and expertise to other resources
Excellent problem-solving, team and time management skills
Resourceful and proactive in gathering information and sharing ideas
Ability to persuade and influence others - immediate team and wider enterprise - on best approach to take
Ability to estimate delivery work effort for project plans
Willingly and successfully fulfils the role of teacher, mentor and coach
Added bonus if you have:Financial/Banking industry experience preferred
Knowledge of FIS Products and Services preferred.

The pay range for this full-time position is $123,810.00 - $207,980.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
