Through the years, Mitchell 1's products have evolved to keep pace with the industry and technological advances.We are looking for a System Infrastructure Engineer who leads the IT infrastructure team with technical expertise and administration bandwidth.Overall responsibilities include:Support of internal corporate infrastructureCommercial SaaS applicationsImplementation of project deliverablesHardware and software lifecycle managementIT security, performance, and availability.Day-to-day responsibilities include:Providing technical direction, workload management, and prioritization of tasks for the teamImplementation and operational administration of hardware and software upgrades and deploymentsApply security remediation, vulnerability, and patch managementCollaborating with security/compliance, system, and network architects to design and implement enterprise systems serving internal and external customer needsMaintaining infrastructure performance, availability, and capacity managementImproving, maintaining, and disaster recovery application migrationLogging, monitoring, and alerting of infrastructureDocumentation of infrastructure process, procedures, and asset managementEnsuring data integrity, availability, security, and recoverabilityParticipating in on-call rotation, incident response, and be a point of escalation for the teamTechnical requirementsArchitect-level experience with ten or more years of server infrastructure responsibilities

with a combination of

physical server installation/repair and ownership of Linux, Windows Server, Hyper-V

(or other hypervisor experience such as VMware or Nutanix) requiredExperience with SAN/ Storage

technologies such as Dell, NetApp, PureStorage, Isilon requiredExperience with Hybrid/Public cloud experience with Azure or AWS is requiredExperience Network troubleshooting and packet capture analysisExperience with Backup and RecoveryExperience with scripting such as Jenkins, Ansible, PowerShell, Perl, Terraform/IaCExperience with Cisco, F5Experience with ServiceNow CMDB a plusExperience with Splunk administration a plusQualificationsBachelor's degree in computer science or relevant field5+ years of experience in related field3-5 years of management experience in a hands-on leadership roleExperience in information technology space and solving various software and hardware problemsStrong technical problem-solving and communication skills
