Job SummaryPremium Catering & Clubs Supervisor: T-Mobile Arena
Summary:
Under the direction of department manager, ensures effective operations of assigned catering & clubs location, including training and supervision of catering & clubs personnel, in accordance with Company's Service Standards and applicable Operational Standards.Key Responsibilities:Maintain positive guest relationships by obtaining regular feedback through table visits and executing show quality standardsTrain and convey brand clarity through the menu, wine, and beverage knowledgeRespond and assist in any departmental guest service issuesExecute all menus, promotions and programs as outlined by the Catering & Cubs Manager in accordance with Levy standardsEnsure all catering services exceed guest expectationDevelops a positive rapport with guestsFollows responsible alcohol service policiesAssist in staffing, scheduling, and trainingsDirectly supervising staff while having direct interaction with customersPre-event distribution of bar, club, or catering paperwork, initial space walk thru to check for any maintenance issuesAssist in the set-up, may include getting tables, chafers, ice, locking or unlocking of fridges/cabinets as per directed, etcBe visible during events, making yourself accessible to help guests, answer guest questions regarding food preparation or ingredients, service or billing, resolves guest complaints, with assistance of department managerComplete closing duties according to company proceduresConduct physical audit of inventory and product. Research and perform reconciliationsTrain, educate, and enforce responsible service of alcoholic beverages and evaluate compliance within corporate proceduresEnsure that all work stations, pantries and storerooms remain clean and sufficiently stocked; ensures replacement stock is orderedEnsure all monetary transactions and procedures are documented and enforcedDevelop and enforce standards for service, sanitation, and product and food qualityEnsure all sanitation practices are used and Department of Health guidelines are followed; reports safety hazards and repairs itemsAbility to interact with co-workers in order to assure compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash control proceduresPerforms other duties as assignedJob Qualifications:Minimum of two-year leadership experience in a service experience in a hotel, full service restaurant, catering facility or club environment requiredMust be a team player and work well in group settings; inspire teammates and staff to strive for excellenceBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and OutlookValid Nevada Food Handler Card, TAM Card, and Non-Gaming Sheriff CardExcellent written and verbal communications and interpersonal skillKnowledge and experience working with a POS systemFast paced problem solving; able to adapt to change quickly; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlinesDetail oriented; organized and ability to quickly jump from task to task and prioritize as neededPunctual and dependable; personable, proactive and self-motivatedOrganizational skills; detail-oriented, ability to work accurately, efficiently, and courteously in a high pressure environmentAbility to occasionally lift, carry and put away parcels weighing up to 30 poundsAbility to stand and walk for entire length of shift, including walking up and down stairs and lifting as the work duties demandApply to Levy today!Levy is a member of Compass Group USAClick here to Learn More about the Compass StoryCompass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
