Job Summary

Premium Catering & Clubs Supervisor: T-Mobile Arena

Summary: Under the direction of department manager, ensures effective operations of assigned catering & clubs location, including training and supervision of catering & clubs personnel, in accordance with Company’s Service Standards and applicable Operational Standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain positive guest relationships by obtaining regular feedback through table visits and executing show quality standards

Train and convey brand clarity through the menu, wine, and beverage knowledge

Respond and assist in any departmental guest service issues

Execute all menus, promotions and programs as outlined by the Catering & Cubs Manager in accordance with Levy standards

Ensure all catering services exceed guest expectation

Develops a positive rapport with guests

Follows responsible alcohol service policies

Assist in staffing, scheduling, and trainings

Directly supervising staff while having direct interaction with customers

Pre-event distribution of bar, club, or catering paperwork, initial space walk thru to check for any maintenance issues

Assist in the set-up, may include getting tables, chafers, ice, locking or unlocking of fridges/cabinets as per directed, etc

Be visible during events, making yourself accessible to help guests, answer guest questions regarding food preparation or ingredients, service or billing, resolves guest complaints, with assistance of department manager

Complete closing duties according to company procedures

Conduct physical audit of inventory and product. Research and perform reconciliations

Train, educate, and enforce responsible service of alcoholic beverages and evaluate compliance within corporate procedures

Ensure that all work stations, pantries and storerooms remain clean and sufficiently stocked; ensures replacement stock is ordered

Ensure all monetary transactions and procedures are documented and enforced

Develop and enforce standards for service, sanitation, and product and food quality

Ensure all sanitation practices are used and Department of Health guidelines are followed; reports safety hazards and repairs items

Ability to interact with co-workers in order to assure compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures

Performs other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

Minimum of two-year leadership experience in a service experience in a hotel, full service restaurant, catering facility or club environment required

Must be a team player and work well in group settings; inspire teammates and staff to strive for excellence

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook

Valid Nevada Food Handler Card, TAM Card, and Non-Gaming Sheriff Card

Excellent written and verbal communications and interpersonal skill

Knowledge and experience working with a POS system

Fast paced problem solving; able to adapt to change quickly; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Detail oriented; organized and ability to quickly jump from task to task and prioritize as needed

Punctual and dependable; personable, proactive and self-motivated

Organizational skills; detail-oriented, ability to work accurately, efficiently, and courteously in a high pressure environment

Ability to occasionally lift, carry and put away parcels weighing up to 30 pounds

Ability to stand and walk for entire length of shift, including walking up and down stairs and lifting as the work duties demand
