Cyber Security Engineer

Job Overview :Our team is looking for a CSIRT Engineer to join our Cyber Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT). This role involves handling security operations and supporting 24x7 incident response to safeguard critical information assets. The CSIRT Engineer will investigate, respond to, and mitigate cyber threats, using advanced security methodologies to protect eBay's network and data systems.Key Responsibilities :Incident Investigation : Analyze security incidents to assess and address compromises.Threat Escalation & Response : Respond to escalated events and apply countermeasures to prevent unauthorized access.Security Research : Develop countermeasures for newly identified threats.Collaboration & Communication : Coordinate with shift leads and cross-functional teams, and report findings.Digital Forensics : Conduct forensically sound investigations in collaboration with HR and Legal.Requirements :Skills : Proficiency in Incident Response, penetration testing, log analysis, digital forensics, networking (TCP/IP), and scripting (Python, Perl, etc.).Experience : 3+ years in incident response, digital forensics, or malware analysis.Certifications

(1 required): CISSP, GCIA, CEH, OSCP, EnCE, or similar.
