Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer
Job Description
The Embedded Software Engineer will design, develop, and implement software, primarily in C, for embedded applications in the space industry.
Two Positions - One Jr and one Sr (2 - 7 years of experience)
Prototype, test, design, and integrate embedded software for multiple Space Programs
You will support Artemis and other space programs, working directly with primes including Northrop Grumman, NASA JPL, etc.
This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with multiple engineering disciplines and have a hands-on impact on products going to space.
Responsibilities
Develop C code from scratch for embedded systems.
Work with various types of RTOS, including FreeRTOS.
Collaborate with multiple engineering disciplines.
Utilize tools such as logic analyzers and oscilloscopes.
Contribute to projects in regulated environments such as aerospace, defense, space, medical devices, and automotive industries.
Engage in hands-on impact on products destined for space.
Essential Skills
Proficient in C programming.
3+ years of development experience in embedded applications.
2+ years of professional software development experience.
Working knowledge of Python.
Ability to use logic analyzers and oscilloscopes.
Must be ITAR Compliant
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Must Have at least 1-2 Years Experience working in a regulated environment (Aerospace, Automotive, Medical Device, etc)
Must be ITAR Compliant - able to work on defense related projects
Work Environment
Fully On-Site in Pasadena
