Job Description
Insight Global is looking fora highly skilled Security Engineer to play a crucial role in tactical efforts to ensure the security of company systems and data. This role includes a wide range of responsibilities, including threat intelligence, vulnerability management, incident response, as well as defensive control research and management. This Security Engineer will often partner with IT and business teams to drive cybersecurity improvements and act as an escalation resource for security analysis and incident handling. Additionally, they will maintain a high level of awareness of evolving technology and cybersecurity concerns in their pursuit to defend the company against emerging cyber threats. Quality candidates will be confident working on small security teams and come from a wide array of experiences. This is a full-time position with a local insurance company in Richmond, VA with a compensation of 100-145k/year. The most qualified candidate should be able to work onsite at least 1-3 days/week.

Skills and Requirements
5+ years in an information security-related role (security operations, vulnerability management, incident response, etc)
Experience using SIEM platform, specifically Splunk
Experience with Active Directory (deployment, testing phase, and analyzing performance risks, and applying group policy)
Experience running VMware and being in a Microsoft shop with windows networks
Experience with Palo Alto firewalls
Familiarity with security incident and response management form intake to solution and recommended improvements
Configuration experience - Azure experience null
