The logistics team is a group of leaders who are driven to provide excellent services for our customers by ensuring that their orders are delivered quickly, accurately, and in the most cost-effective way possible. We are looking for creative leaders with a passion for highly complex challenges, a knack for problem-solving, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position involves regular communication with senior management on status, risks/opportunities, and daily change control management. Cross-team coordination, project management, and executive interaction skills are essential. To be successful in the role, you need strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, ability to influence across business functions and manage stakeholders' expectations effectively. This position will support the US logistics Trade Compliance management.Responsibilities:1.
Custom Brokers Suppliers Management:
Managing Cross Boarder B2C customs clearance brokers, includes evaluation of their compliance, operational management capabilities, etc., based on the standardized supplier management system. And give suggestions to the procurement team.2.
Custom Brokers Operation Management:
Monitoring and following up on the operation performance of each B2C customs broker at each port (from airplane landing to LM collection), and following up on abnormal handling to ensure customers' logistics experience.3.
Oversee B2C Customs Compliance:
Following up on policy changes related to B2C customs clearance (including Type 86 & ECCF), collect and provide feedback to company, help FM (air) Transport Department, Customs Affair Department, etc. on system and process optimization.4.
Customs Brokers Cost Management:
Cooperate with the financial team to participate in daily reimbursement, dispute resolution, etc. for customs clearance costs.5.
Customs Clearance Cost and Time Optimization Projects:
Participating in projects involving customs clearance time and cost optimization, and provide in-depth empowerment to some customs brokers to optimize the overall B2C shipping time and cost. (It may be necessary to go to the customs brokers bonded warehouse to participate in the implementation of these projects6.
Team Development:
Conduct regular training to elevate the team's understanding of customs regulations.Requirements:1.
Educational Background:
Associate Degree or higher.2.
License Prefer:
Customs Broker License (CBL)3.
Professional Experience:
At least 3 years in a customs-related role, with a thorough understanding of US import operations and processing trade. ( Must have B2C related customs experience4.
Technical Proficiency:
Proficient in MS Office, ERP TMS/WMS , and E Custom Clearance Software.5.
Language Skills:
Knowledge of Chinese is advantageous.6.
Communication:
