As aFull-Time Robotics Software Engineer, you will work alongside a highly collaborative teamof robotics engineers, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, computer scientists,other software developers and biopharma scientists to build robotic systems thatautomate the manufacturing of life-saving cell therapies.Projects include, but are not limited to, robotic interaction algorithms, dataintegration, trajectory planning and imitation learning. Your strengths andpassions will determine which team you assist and all teams rotate frequently topromote cross-functional collaboration and rapid learning for all members. Thisrole is for you if you are a strong problem solver, a motivated and hard-workingengineer, and excited to work at an early-stage startup.As a member of our Robotics Software team, you will:Help develop a robust, ecient, and compliant robotic system.Design, build, deploy, troubleshoot and maintain high-quality productionsoftware.Collaborate with both software and hardware when developing roboticinteractions.Design and implement communication protocols with variousinstruments.Actively contribute to the automated test suite for continuous integration.Work with simulation software to predict the movements of the roboticsystem.Troubleshoot communication issues with control systems and interactionissues between the robot and hardware systems.Qualifications:Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.Strong background in: linear algebra, Python, and data science.Experience with robotic systems.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Passionate, curious, and eager to learn.Self-starter and comfortable working in a fast paced, technically challenging startup environment.Prioritize organization and detail orientation.Ability to handle multiple project and task assignments simultaneously.Strong communication skills that clearly express ideas and design details in meetings, team presentations, white board brainstorming sessions and in various technical documentation.Additional Qualifications - Considered a plus:Industry experience with Python.Experience with linux / unix systems.
