Benefits Administrator
to join their team!Salary/Hourly Rate:$32/hrPosition Overview:The Benefits Administrator is responsible for managing and administering employee benefits programs to ensure optimal delivery and streamlined processes. The Benefits Administrator role includes liaising with various stakeholders, maintaining records, and keeping updated on relevant legislation and best practices. This is a 3-6 month contract.Responsibilities of the Benefits Administrator:
Oversee and manage the administration of employee benefits programs, including healthcare, retirement, and other voluntary benefits
Develop and maintain benefits enrolment procedures, policies, and procedures
Communicate benefits information to employees through various channels, such as email, meetings, and the company intranet. / Process and manage employee benefits enrolment, renewal, and termination activities
Review and analyze benefits program costs to ensure budget adherence and identify cost-saving opportunities
Collaborate with insurance carriers, vendors, and brokers to negotiate contracts, resolve issues, and ensure benefits are delivered effectively and efficiently
Stay updated on legislative changes and industry trends that may impact benefits programs
Coordinate with Human Resources and Finance departments to ensure accurate and timely benefits reporting and compliance
Respond to employee inquiries concerning benefits programs and provide guidance on available options
Conduct periodic benefits audits and evaluate program effectiveness, making recommendations for improvements when necessary
Qualifications for the Benefits Administrator:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in benefits administration, HR, or a related field
Strong understanding of various benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and voluntary benefits
Familiarity with relevant legislation, such as the Affordable Care Act and ERISA
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and benefits administration software
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and collaborative
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required
