Production Operator

**Job Title: Production Operator****Job Description**As a Production Operator, you will operate machinery, measure products, and load/unload materials. You will be working with rubber hoses across three main departments on the manufacturing floor. Heavy lifting (50-80 lbs) is required. The role involves starting in the Scrap department for 1-2 weeks, followed by 1-2 months in the Acqua Traxx department, and eventually moving to the Hose department.**Responsibilities**+ Operate machinery and measure products using calipers and other measuring tools.+ Load and unload materials, involving heavy lifting (50-80 lbs).+ Start in the Scrap department for training (1-2 weeks), which is the most physically demanding.+ Move to the Acqua Traxx department for 1-2 months, running machinery, measuring with calipers, and occasionally using a microscope.+ Read labels and basic quality reports.+ Eventually transition to the Hose department, which is less physical and more laid back.**Essential Skills**+ 6+ months of production experience.+ Ability to use calipers and other measuring tools.+ Mechanically inclined.+ Ability to lift 50+ lbs constantly.+ Ability to work weekends.+ Capability of heavy lifting (40-80 lbs) up to 100 times a day.+ Ability to be on feet all day and stay flexible.**Additional Skills & Qualifications**+ Experience in general labor and production operations.+ Experience with hand tools and tape measures.+ Previous roles in fast food or as a cook are considered.**Why Work Here?**This is a contract-to-hire position with opportunities for growth.
