Pathology Physician

At SSM Health, we are committed to delivering exceptional healthcare services, and SLUCare represents the academic medical practice of Saint Louis University, known for leading-edge care and groundbreaking research.SLUCare Pathology is seeking an experienced, board-certified academic transfusion medicine physician to serve as the Medical Director of Transfusion Medicine Services at St. Louis University Hospital and Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital. Both hospitals are teaching facilities for the school of medicine. This service line provides vital support to adult and pediatric level I trauma centers, bone marrow transplant programs, ECMO programs, solid organ transplant programs, and a rapidly expanding cardiothoracic surgical service. Additionally, the Transfusion Medicine Service conducts inpatient and outpatient therapeutic apheresis procedures.The core blood bank provides comprehensive immunohematology services, storage of blood products, and safe issuance of blood products.Job DetailsSchedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p.
