11/25/24Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain or related field (an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered)5+ years of experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, buying, or financial analysisHighly analytical with excellent problem-solving skills.Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel, and experience in ERP / MRP demand-driven environment.Manages multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing accuracy, detail, and quality.Exceptional customer service and communication skills for high-expectation, high-visibility customers.Highly motivated; able to function independently and winning as a team through collaboration.Strategic thinker, who is adaptable, to lead and problem solve in a highly constrained and dynamic supply chain.

Pluses:Deep experience with Oracle & Microsoft Navision ERP/MRP applications with ability to teach others.Experience with complex configuration management in a regulated environmentAPICs supply chain certificationYour Impact:As a Demand Planning Analyst, you will collaborate with Regional VP's, Product VP's and Engineering teams to make sure equipment and resources are available to meet installation and maintenance needs. Our goal is to make sure that Intelsat Inflight is installed on as many aircraft as possible and our team is the bridge to translate sales commitments and product upgrades into solid purchasing and delivery plans through the S&OP process. This activity drives our success and directly impacts revenue generation and cost control. Without a highly functioning demand plan, we will fail to service our customers and meet our financial goals.The role will manage the EMEA and APAC customer demand shipping out of Itasca and Amsterdam. They will also help determine what spares configurations are built in Amsterdam. The Amsterdam facility is very low volume (about 8% of our yearly shipments), so most of their role pertains to what is shipped out of Itasca.You will also work closely with our Amsterdam facility to manage their master production scheduling to prepare a production & shipping schedule, prioritizing for planned and unplanned demand, and repairable units by reviewing material availability and capacity.Intelsat Inflight is growing rapidly and it is a critical time for our Supply Chain teams to continue to develop world class processes with world class talent. The people making great things happen today are passionate about Intelsat's success and we can't wait to add more committed team members.What You Will Do:Collaborates with Regional Vice Presidents to create a single version of the truth for planned installation & upgrades demand schedules, and other sales activities to drive core business decisions through S&OP process.Leads cross functional planning reviews with accounts, program management and operational teams to provide program health for Airline Fleet specific parts based on product life cycle planning and engineering certification schedules. This includes identifying risks and opportunities for purchasing and LRU (line replaceable units) planning, as well as coordination of new purchases to ensure PO coverage is available for demand for rolling 12 months.Collaborates with our OEM customers shipments to efficiently supply equipment to global assembly lines under strict regulations, as well as harmonizing essential spares planning in multiple locations.Coordinates with procurement & purchasing to ensure that timing of receipts meets the demand schedule and that receipts are adjusted where needed.Owns Master Production Schedule for Amsterdam facility and functions as the focal point to prepare a production & shipping schedule, prioritizing for planned and unplanned demand, and repairable units by reviewing material availability and capacity.Provide continual improvement of the planning, reporting, and communication processes including publishing weekly Itasca and Amsterdam metrics for Forecast, Quality, Returns, and production.Continually reviews processes and systems to identify opportunities to minimize wasteful spending and optimize our resources.Works with accounting team to ensure completeness of the monthly financial statements and variance explanations.
