CHARLOTTE, NC: Senior Tax Manager sought for boutique CPA firm. Oversee preparation/filing of federal and SALT tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, etc. Review tax provisions, monitor changes in laws and regulations. Develop/implement tax strategies to assess the impact of M&A and restructurings. Conduct tax research/prepare technical memoranda. Supervise/mentor junior staff and review work product. Manage audits. Work with legal, finance, accounting, etc. Support treasury and finance teams. Collaborate with external advisors, consultants, legal teams. Assist in preparation of annual tax budgets/forecasts; monitor/track tax-related expenses.
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. CPA, JD, MST preferred.
Five+ years experience in corporate tax, public accounting, with two+ years in management role.
Federal, SALT, and international tax knowledge. OneSource, Corptax, or similar.
Base salary $160-180k with discretionary 10% bonus. Some travel may be required.
