The Electronics Assembler will assemble printed circuit boards using hand soldering techniques and assemble cable harnesses.Work Model : This is a full-time, 100% on-site position based in El Segundo, CAWhat You'll Be DoingHand solder mixed technology printed circuit board assemblies including both through-hole and surface mount components, install specialized components such as BGAs and create cable harnesses.Proficiency forming surface mount component leads with pneumatic forming equipment.Work from drawings, wire lists, parts lists, engineering schematics and engineering instructions/change-orders.Ability to use a variety of hand crimpers, wire strippers, torque screwdrivers and soldering ironsPerform continuity tests on cable assemblies.Demonstrates the ability to perform assigned tasks from verbal instructions and engineering recommendations in support of non-deliverable product development.Uses and operates ovens, hotplates, basic measuring devices, hand and power tools and equipment such as screwdrivers, torque tools, wire strippers, and crimping tools as necessary.Communicate effectively with all members of the xLab team using both verbal and written means.What You Need to be SuccessfulMinimum Requirements:Active J-STD-001 certification or equivalent, including workmanship modules.High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one year certificate from college or technical school4 or more years experience in soldering and cable/harnesses fabrication, use basic hand tools, crimp tools, and soldering irons.This position requires ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the US government. The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.(Min - Max)$30.16 - $45.28 Pay Basis: Hourly
