CNC PROGRAMMER IV – Houston Texas (North)PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITIONProgram manufacturing jobs, fixtures, and repairs within facility. Review customer supplied prints and creates programs to optimize use of existing equipment. Analyze and advise improvements in fixturing, work holding, tooling and processes.PRIMARY DUTIESDevelop complex CNC programs for 5 axis machining centers, vertical mills with and without 4th axis rotaries, horizontal mills & Fanuc lathes with live tooling and Y axisUtilize computer aided design/computer aided manufacturing (CAD/MASTERCAM) and related computer technology to develop programs and tool path modelsEffectively evaluate, communicate, and report machine performance along with areas for improvement in the machining processContinually search for advancements in tooling and technology for ways to improve existing processesTrouble shoots CNC program problems on the floor assisting operators to correct themReview routers for production processDevelop and design work holding and select cutting tools. Create and compile necessary documents to aid in setting up machinesOrganize and maintain DNC system to current processes including setup information to define tooling selection in tool room and decrease setup times at machinesTest new machine technologies to reduce part cycle timesContinuously improve design and production efforts by working closely with engineering teamAssist in creating models and blueprints for work holding and fixturingAssist in training with other CNC programmersPerform responsibilities as defined in QHSE Management System or direct supervisorREQUIREMENTS:Advanced knowledge of MASTERCAM software is a mustAdvanced aptitude of machining principles - DMG (5 axis), Mazak Integrex (5 axis), Mazak (4 axis – vertical), Fanuc Lathe (Puma, Wia, Kia)10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment or 5+ years in a programming positionExtensive working knowledge of CNC programs and DNC systemsAbility to effectively communicate at all levels within the manufacturing facilityAbility to read and understand work orders, blueprints, GD&T, CNC programs and processesAbility to lead teams in the development of new product processesMust demonstrate a willingness to adjust priorities to accommodate changing requirementsAbility to muti-task in a fast-paced environmentAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situationsRequires strong verbal, written and communication skillsEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledTo read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to https://www.adecco.com/en-us/candidate-privacyThe Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable:The California Fair Chance ActLos Angeles City Fair Chance OrdinanceLos Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for EmployersSan Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance
