Data Quality Analyst (Remote Opportunity)

VetsEZ is currently seeking a Data Quality Analyst & Tester to join a team to support a project with the Department of Veterans Affairs. The position will support the Data Migration & Syndication effort within the Electronic Health Record Modernization Integration Office (EHRM-IO).
The candidate must reside within the continental US.
Responsibilities:
Execute, monitor, and troubleshoot daily Data Quality (DQ) checks across 131 sites, 1400+ tables, and over 340 billion records, addressing discrepancies and working with IRIS Developers to resolve issues.
Gather requirements for new DQ capabilities, collaborate with the Development team on implementation, testing, and deployment, and maintain DQ applications and user access.
Monitor and maintain the DQ Portainer/Docker environment, and collaborate with the System Administration team to resolve server issues, including virus scans, hardware installation, and reboots.
Facilitate weekly DQ meetings, providing status updates on DQ Checks, Back Checks, and InterSystems Data Checks, and create and update DQ Progress Reports.
Maintain user and technical documentation for DQ tools and processes, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
Monitor system status for VX130 and Oracle Health Ensemble, and compile and maintain the VX130 Historical Pull Status report, including Power BI updates.
Execute and enhance IRIS cut-over extract programs for various medical and administrative data types, ensuring smooth site transitions during go-live events.
Investigate and resolve data migration issues reported by Oracle Health and the VA, create and validate ad-hoc SQL queries, and review Oracle Health Task Orders for monthly reporting accuracy.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or other Engineering or technical discipline.
Experience with tools to automate, monitoring, design, or data mapping functions.
Knowledge of database architecture, administration, and security for on-premise and cloud-hosted database systems.
Communicates and leads effectively detailed technical discussions and develop and present required briefing materials to ensure the customer's needs are met.
Additional Qualifications:
Experience in the VA or other federal organizations desired.
Experience with Data Migration and Data Syndication within the VA desired.
Experience with DQ applications including but not limited to DQ Tool, Event Tracker, DMM Ticketing, and Journal File tool.
Ability to obtain a Government clearance.
