As a Safety Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees and subcontractors. Your expertise will help us uphold our high standards of safety and compliance.Benefits: 90% covered by employer!What will you do day-to-day?Safety Training:
Develop and deliver safety training programs for all employees, ensuring everyone is aware of safety protocols and best practices.Site Inspections:
Conduct regular safety inspections on job sites to identify hazards, assess risks, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.Incident Investigation:
Investigate accidents and near misses, analyzing root causes and developing recommendations to prevent future occurrences.Safety Compliance:
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations, as well as industry standards.Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, incident reports, and safety data.Collaboration:
Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and employees to promote a culture of safety and address safety concerns promptly.Reporting:
Prepare safety performance reports for management, highlighting trends and areas for improvement.Who are you?Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a safety role within the commercial construction industry. Management experience is not required.Knowledge:
Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and safety standards relevant to the construction industry.Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey safety information to diverse audiences.Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks and implement solutions.Certifications:
Relevant safety certifications (OSHA 30-hour & CPR/First Aid) are preferred. OSHA 300 Certification is required.Team Player:
