Vice President, Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions

A large life insurance company is looking to hire a VP onto their Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions team. Looking for someone to be responsible for actuarial aspects of modeling and due diligence for acquisitions and divestitures of the enterprise. This is a hybrid role based out of NJ. Please apply if qualified and interested in learning more!Responsibilities:Day-to-day project management of actuarial aspects of M&A projectsDevelopment of projections under local statutory, Purchase GAAP and US GAAP accounting frameworksPerform actuarial and related due diligence covering reserve adequacy, product and pricing evaluations, determination of appropriate assumptions, reinsurance programs, evaluation of existing models, actuarial appraisalsQualifications:10+ years of actuarial/insurance experienceM&A transaction-related experience, reinsurance and or new initiative modeling experienceFSA designation preferredBroad and detailed knowledge of various valuation methods for insurance companies
