NYC Health + Hospitals.
Jacobi is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and NCB has 213 licensed beds. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with
Albert Einstein Medical College
to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

Responsibilities
We are looking for colleagues to join our dynamic group of six (6) hematologist-oncologists, in a very friendly family-like working atmosphere
Ample opportunities to develop own clinic, precept a fellow’s clinic, telemedicine
Availability of various leadership positions from day one, opportunities to collaborate in clinical research and QI projects
Full Time or Part Time positions available
Academic appointment at Albert Einstein School of Medicine

The call schedule is 1 in 6 weeks at-home call
Fellows are first of contact on call
Qualifications
Completion of Fellowship Training Program in Hematology/Oncology
Board Certification/Eligibility in Hematology/Oncology
Current licensed NY State registration (or the ability to obtain one)
High attention to detail
Ability to maintain high standards
Wages and Benefits include:
Annual Base Salary: $300,000 based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $425,520 , which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:
Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.
Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.
Medical, Prescription, and Dental Coverage: Top-tier plans with employee contributions significantly below market rates.
