Seeking a full-time Nephrology Clinician-Educator to join the Department of Medicine at the Jacobi Medical Center and North Central Bronx Hospital (NCB) in the Bronx, NY.
The Division of Nephrology is an academic division with a robust fellowship with 6 Fellows, that is sponsored by the Albert Einstein College of Medicine (AECOM).The work includes both inpatient and outpatient care and clinical supervision and teaching of fellows, residents, and medical students.The Jacobi Inpatient service averages 7-10 new consults per day, while NCB averages 3-5 a day.We have very active out patient practice which covers the gamut of Nephrology from glomerular diseases and vasculitis to bread and bread CKD due to Diabetes and Hypertension.We are driven to increase access to care across the spectrum of CKD for our patients including increasing equity and access for those needing renal transplantation.Qualifications
