Meet with clients to sketch up concept designs for residential cabinetry Conduct showroom presentations Collect dimensions/specs of client space for preliminary design Coordinate and run meetings with contract designers and client - keep meetings concise and on topic according to agenda Maintain data integrity in specs/drawings, production planning, pricing quotes, and other documentation using Adobe Professional, Revit or Sketchup or CabinetVision, MS Excel, MS Word, Google docs and Gmail Handle high volume email and phone communication between clients and contractors with clear messaging and professional demeanor Assist and persuade clients to make decisions on design specs such as style, paint color, material, etc. Keep up with current trends in interior design, specifically for Cabinetry of kitchens and bathrooms Work with engineering and design team to ensure designs are held within client expectations Keep showroom beverage fridge stocked and order other office supplies as needed Job Description: We are seeking a Cabinetry Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills working with our clients, ensure projects are on task and timely, is detail oriented and organized ensuring cabinetry specifications are selected and client approved for each project prior to proceeding into the engineering and manufacturing phase. This individual would be responsible for going over cabinetry drawings with clients and reviewing/red‐lining any updates or changes requested. Collaborating with cross‐functional teams within our company and ensuring project deliverables meet the highest standards is essential. The Cabinetry Designer serves as the main point of contact during the initial design phase with our clients. Experience with CAD software a plus. Responsibilities:  This position is the first point of contact for our clients and welcomes homeowners to our company by providing them with an up‐front overview of our process.  Initiate and schedule client cabinetry meetings via calendar request and email.  Communicates and follows‐up on the tasks and specifications required for each project.  Documents specifications such as material, finish and hardware selections requested.  Ability to communicate design ideas clearly both visually and verbally.  Recommend products based on company standards while balancing client needs.  Continuous monitoring of each project in the initial design and preliminary drawing phase.  Notate open items and specifications that require client review and approval in order to achieve requested manufacturing and installation timelines.  Proactively follow‐up with project open items and scheduling updates.  Assist with quotation revisions and change order requests.  Work closely with engineers to ensure accurate and complete designs.  Collaborate with other departments to ensure designs meet project requirements.  Provide contractors, designers and clients with up‐to‐date status updates and timelines.  Maintain accurate records of designs and revisions.  Obtain final client sign‐offs on drawings and quotation to advance project into production.  Weekly meetings with production team to ensure all projects in que have realistic schedules and confirm manufacturing and install timelines will be achieved.  Advertise various projects, cabinetry features and photography on our social media platforms.
