Senior Product/UX Designer - Contract

My client, a leading agency, is looking for a Senior UX/Product Designer with a strong background in designing user-centered, complex digital products and platforms. This person will work on a high-impact project requiring hands-on UX and UI design expertise, user research, and the ability to translate findings into actionable design solutions. This role will work closely with information architects (IA) and strategists, and requires someone comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders.This is a five month, hybrid, full-time, contract working working 2 days out of their New York City office.To start ASAP!ResponsibilitiesConduct in-depth research and analysis on existing content to understand website structure, user experience gaps, and potential opportunities for improvement.Develop and maintain a robust, user-centered design process through user research, personas, journey mapping, and usability testing.Create and refine wireframes and design outputs that align with user insights and project goals.Demonstrate proficiency in Figma to produce high-quality, end-to-end product designs, from concept through final UI.Build and enhance design systems for large-scale projects, ensuring consistency and flexibility across different parts of the product.Work collaboratively with IA, strategists, and cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions meet both user and business needs.Present designs effectively to senior stakeholders, showcasing a strong understanding of product design principles and UX strategy.Provide consultative expertise, guiding the design process throughout all project stages.Requirements7-10 years of experience in UX/UI design, specifically for complex digital products or platforms in the healthcare space.Extensive experience in user-centered design methodologies, including user research, journey mapping, and usability testing.Demonstrated expertise in Figma with an accompanying portfolio showcasing the end-to-end product design process.Proven ability to build and manage design systems for scalable digital products.Strong presentation and communication skills, with experience interfacing with senior stakeholders and providing consultative design expertise.Background in consultancy and healthcare work is highly desirable.Sphere Digital Recruitment currently have a variety of job opportunities across digital so feel free to get in touch with us to find out how we can help you.
