Employment and Immigration Attorney
Employment and Immigration Attorney- Houston Area A boutique law firm located in the inner loop of Houston focusing on personal injury, employment, and immigration law is seeking an attorney to join their team. Candidates must have 2+ years of experience within one or all of the following practice areas: personal injury, employment, immigration. Candidates can be licensed in the state of Texas or Louisiana. Federal court experience preferred. Must have strong writing skills and be able to work in a fast paced environment.
Duties include:
? Provides legal advice and representation to individuals and businesses seeking protection.
? Evaluates viability of discrimination or harassment requests; completes and files required documents.
? Evaluates evidence in infringement or dilution cases.
? Prepares and files briefs, motions, and other necessary judicial pleadings.
? Manages and/or participates in litigation of cases involving employment disputes.
? Interviews and deposes witnesses and further facilitates the discovery process.
? Maintains knowledge of legal developments including completion continuing legal education.
? Performs other related duties as assigned.
