Associate Attorney

About the Role:

Our client, a respected personal injury law firm in Houston, is seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney with 0-3 years of experience in personal injury law. This role is a great opportunity for an early-career attorney looking to advance their skills, work closely with seasoned legal professionals, and make a meaningful impact on clients’ lives. This position requires a full-time, onsite presence in Houston.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in personal injury cases from intake through settlement or trial
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
• Assist in trial preparation, including witness interviews and evidence organization
• Participate in depositions, mediations, and court proceedings
• Maintain case files and communicate case progress to clients and senior attorneys
• Collaborate with a team of legal professionals to ensure timely and effective case management

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active Texas Bar License in good standing
• 0-3 years of experience in personal injury law, including case management and litigation
• Strong research, writing, and verbal communication skills
• High level of organization, attention to detail, and client service orientation
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload in a fast-paced environment
