Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and driven Applied AI Researcher to join our AI team. This role focuses on developing state-of-the-art techniques in 3D, neural rendering, and generative video. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in deep learning, computer vision, and computer graphics, with the ability to translate cutting-edge research into scalable, practical applications that elevate our video production platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research on neural rendering techniques, including novel methods for video-based rendering and human centric models.
• Develop generative models for video creation, such video diffusion models, tailored for use in video content production.
• Work on 3D reconstruction methods and scene understanding using AI to integrate physical environments with virtual elements in video production.
• Design and implement algorithms for photorealistic rendering, focusing on optimizing quality, speed, and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, artists, and product managers, to turn research into deployable features within Voia’s platform.
• Stay up to date with the latest research in deep learning, computer vision, and generative AI to propose innovative solutions and maintain Voia's competitive edge.
• Publish findings in top-tier conferences and journals, contributing to the academic and industrial AI community.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. or Master’s in Computer ScienceArtificial IntelligenceMachine LearningComputer Vision, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
• Expertise in 3D computer vision, including techniques like gaussian splatsvideo synthesis, and human centric models
• Strong understanding of neural rendering methods, generative models, and the application of AI in video and 3D environments
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and adapt research for commercial applications.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with 3D and neural rendering technologies.
• Previous work on generative video models and familiarity with concepts such as temporal coherence and style transfer for video.
• Proven track record of research and development in fields related to 3D, video, and AI, with a history of publications in leading conferences.
• Knowledge of 3D graphics engines (e.g., Blender, Unreal Engine) and 3D rendering pipelines.
