Senior Process/Design Engineer (EPC - Pharmaceutical)

Summary:

We are looking for multiple knowledgeable Process Design Engineering resources to join our Life Sciences team in support of a pharmaceutical client here in the United States.

Ideal candidates should have a strong understanding of capital project engineering lifecycle and experience providing Engineering and Construction support in highly regulated or pharmaceutical/biotech facilities.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Have a working understanding of high and low voltage panels.
• Pressure vessels.
• Utility, process and high purity piping.
• Process automation and controls.
• Instrumentation
• Turn over package requirements, such as weld logs, data sheets, and equipment submittals.
• Develop and help execute FAT.
• Be able to effectively communicate with the OEM, the design team, and the client.
• Creative solutions to obstacles in delivery.

Position Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of relevant work experience required preferably in a pharmaceutical or engineering environment.
• PE license (or EIT status) preferred.
• Experience in equipment layout definition.
• Previous experience with pharmaceuticals strongly preferred. Will also consider prior experience designing processes for flammable and/or toxic chemicals.
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
