This company is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer specializing in DAS to contribute to our product development efforts. This role will be essential in the design and rollout of new products, while also offering technical support for our growing portfolio, including advanced site management solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cross-functional collaboration with both local and remote teams. Focus:

  • Lead the design, testing, and documentation of new products.
  • Achieve defined goals and milestones for new product development.
  • Implement new product development processes for all designs.
  • Provide ongoing support for existing products.
  • Research and recommend new technologies and innovations to improve product offerings.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and provide technical guidance throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to bring designs to market, including managing bills of materials, part specifications, and test protocols.
  • Conduct tests and evaluations of designs, ensuring they meet performance and quality standards.
  • Generate technical documentation, including specifications and testing criteria.
  • Support sales and marketing teams by offering technical expertise and solutions to customer inquiries.
  • Analyze and improve existing designs for better cost-effectiveness and quality.

Skill Set:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
  • Minimum of five years of experience in high-speed digital electronics and embedded hardware design.
  • Expertise in microprocessor architecture, memory, and I/O interface design.
  • Strong experience in taking PCB designs from concept to production, including hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
  • Proficiency with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and vector network analyzers.
  • Familiarity with CAD tools for schematic capture and PCB simulation.
  • Understanding of relevant safety and regulatory standards (e.g., FCC Part 15, UL standards).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Advanced degree in engineering or relevant professional certifications.
  • Experience with AC/DC power systems, power distribution, and battery backups.
  • Familiarity with RF products and systems.
  • Experience with Agile product lifecycle management tools and Altium for schematic capture.
