This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and experienced interior designer to join a talented design team, help impact projects, and motivate other team members. This opportunity allows you to join an established team to lead projects, motivate and manage other team members, and design hospitality and residential design projects. As the Senior Interior Designer, you will play a pivotal role in managing projects, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring high-quality design outcomes. You’ll lead projects or specific portions of projects, oversee technical development, and maintain project schedules and budgets with the support of project management. Join a creative and supportive team, where your ability to independently present to clients and manage project scope will be key to your success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- 3-5 years of interior design experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT, and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Adobe Creative Suite and other programs is a plus
- Strong design abilities and interior design project management skills
- NCIDQ certification is a plus but not required
- Association memberships or connections with IIDA, NEWH and ASID preferred
- Experience leading and managing team members throughout all project phases
- Experience working with clients directly throughout all project phases
- Maintain project schedule(s) and budget(s)
- Ability to work on multiple projects with simultaneous timelines.
- Excellent communication skills with clients, vendors, and team members
- Ability to travel when needed to project sites
