Project Engineer

My client, a dominant Heavy Civil General Contractor, is looking to continue adding top talent to their strategic expansion strategy. Seeking for a Project Engineer ready to take on multiple critical

projects whilst collaborating with Senior Leaders in order to step into a Project Manager position to lead the business and compete with top ENR players.

Prevalent across Bridge, Road, Culverts, Retaining Walls, Foundations, Structural Rehabilitation, Dams.

Responsibilities:

• Closely work with Project Managers on pivotal heavy civil projects.
• Assist in making sure the project schedule and subcontractors schedules are up-to-date.
• Lead advancement of project plans, submittals and specs.
• Determine liable material deliveries in line with the project schedule.
• Oversee and negotiate trade partner change proposals.
• Cooperate with Superintendents and Project Managers during drawing process.
• Attend and contribute to meetings with clients and Senior Leaders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant experience.
• 2+ years of experience as a Project Engineer.
• Experience with Bridge/Road/Concrete work.
• Showcased ability to handle scheduling, cost engineering, subcontract coordination, general project administration.
