My client, a dominant Heavy Civil General Contractor, is looking to continue adding top talent to their strategic expansion strategy. Seeking for a Project Engineer ready to take on multiple criticalprojects whilst collaborating with Senior Leaders in order to step into a Project Manager position to lead the business and compete with top ENR players.
Prevalent across Bridge, Road, Culverts, Retaining Walls, Foundations, Structural Rehabilitation, Dams.
Responsibilities:Closely work with Project Managers on pivotal heavy civil projects.Assist in making sure the project schedule and subcontractors schedules are up-to-date.Lead advancement of project plans, submittals and specs.Determine liable material deliveries in line with the project schedule.Oversee and negotiate trade partner change proposals.Cooperate with Superintendents and Project Managers during drawing process.Attend and contribute to meetings with clients and Senior Leaders.
Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant experience.2+ years of experience as a Project Engineer.Experience with Bridge/Road/Concrete work.Showcased ability to handle scheduling, cost engineering, subcontract coordination, general project administration.
