Windows System Administrator

TCI has an immediate need for a Windows Systems Administrator in Louisville, KY. This is an on-site Direct Hire opportunity.

SUMMARY

The Windows Systems Administrator will be part a team supporting Systems and Network infrastructure in a banking environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support and maintain Windows Active Directory, Windows Server 2019/2022, Microsoft Exchange 2019 and O365 environments as well as Windows OS 10 & 11.
• Install software and security patches throughout the environment.
• Support VMWare/vSphere 7.0 Infrastructure.
• Maintain documentation of the environment.
• Support and maintain backup & storage environments.
• Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 to 5:00.
• Team: Work with 3 other Systems Administrators providing support.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Windows Server Administration role.
• Solid knowledge of Active Directory, MS Exchange, O365, Windows Server 2019 & 2022, Windows 10/11.
• Solid understanding and ability to maintain and manage SAN, Backup/Recovery, SNMP, IIS and VMWare environments.
• Solid understanding and experience working with Hyperconverged infrastructure (Nutanix preferred but any will suffice like VxRail)
• Solid experience providing/maintaining backups and storage.
• Ability to work independently on small to medium sized projects.
• Problem solving and analytical skills for troubleshooting.

DESIRED (Nice to have) EXPERIENCE

• Cisco LAN/WAN Network Engineering (routers, switches, firewalls, IP protocols, IOS, NX-OS).
• LAN/WAN Switching (L2/L3), including VLANs, Private VLANs, Trunking, EtherChannel and VTP.
• TCP/IP, IP Routing, BGP, EIGRP, SSL VPN, QoS, NAT/PAT, NAC, NetFlow.
• T1, MPLS and Metro Ethernet technologies.
• Cisco Firewall management solutions.
• Cisco Unified Communications.
• Cisco Call Manager / VOIP / Voice Gateways / SIP Trunking.
