Estate Planning Attorney

Located in Auburn/Sacramento area we are a growing estate planning law firm looking for a Senior Estate Planning attorney to join our team and hit the ground running!

We offer a comprehensive compensation package including but not limited to:

• A base salary ranging from 130K-160K with large bonus opportunities

Responsibilities:

• Conduct consultations with clients to understand their estate planning needs and goals.
• Advise clients on estate planning options, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advance healthcare directives, and other related legal instruments.
• Draft, review, and revise estate planning documents, ensuring accuracy and legal compliance.
• Assist clients with asset protection, tax planning, and strategies for wealth transfer.
• Represent clients in probate court and handle all necessary documentation and filings.
• Collaborate with financial advisors, tax professionals, and other experts to develop comprehensive estate plans.
• Stay updated on changes in estate, probate, tax, and trust laws to provide current legal guidance to clients.
• Manage a caseload of estate planning and probate matters, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Maintain confidentiality and act with integrity while handling sensitive client information.

MUST HAVE:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active state bar licensure in California.
• 3+ of experience practicing estate planning or probate law.
• In-depth knowledge of estate, probate, and tax law as it relates to estate planning.

NICE TO HAVE:

• State Bar Certified Specialist in Trust, Wills & Probate
• Knowledge of income, gift and estate tax laws
• Notary Public
