Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and industrial mechanics, with the ability to read and interpret schematics. This role involves traveling to various manufacturing facilities to install, maintain, and repair equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and high voltage equipment at client sites.
• Read and interpret schematics to diagnose issues effectively.
• Utilize tools such as voltmeters to conduct tests and ensure proper functioning of machinery.
• Collaborate with technical sales teams to provide insights on product performance and customer needs.
• Fabricate components as needed for repairs or installations.
• Maintain accurate records of service performed, including parts used and time spent on each job.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding service issues and solutions.
• Adhere to safety protocols while working in various environments, including manufacturing facilities.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role in an industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, high voltage equipment, and industrial mechanics.
• Ability to read schematics and technical drawings proficiently.
• Experience in technical sales is a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with fabrication processes is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Willingness to travel frequently to client locations as required.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
