Job Title

Senior Electrical/Controls Engineer

Job Description

  • Engineering of industrial manufacturing equipment including electrical system design, PLC/HMI programming, project management, and manufacturing support. Reports to the Engineering Manager.

Daily duties

· Create electrical schematics and panel layouts using AutoCAD Electrical

· Assemble electrical system bill of materials

· Develop and implement control programs for industrial PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs

· Meet established deadlines through successful project management and scheduling

· Support customers with machine troubleshooting

· Manage electrical department of 7 electricians, fabricators, and panel builders

· Collaborate with mechanical engineering team on design of machine functions and operations

· Support research and development projects

· Limited travel for installation and commissioning of new equipment at customer facilities

Requirements:

· Programming experience with Allen Bradley and Schneider Electric control systems and software

· 2+ years experience designing electrical power and control systems

· Experience with AutoCad preferred

Compensation:

  • Great Annual Salary Range based on experience

Work week:
