L3 MSP Engineer

Midnight Blue is looking for a Level 3 System Engineer who will manage client networks, resolve technical incidents, and provide great customer service. This is an on-site opportunity in Pittsburgh, PA.

What you’ll do:

• Problem solve and work on varied technologies on a daily basis
• Set up, configure, and troubleshoot servers, computers, and networking equipment
• Be a top-level escalation point to solve or provide guidance on complex troubleshooting tasks
• Sales Engineering – Network and security recommendations and scoping
• Provide root cause analysis and recommendations for solutions to ongoing issues
• Create documentation and provide feedback on existing documentation
• Work in a flexible and collaborative manner

Skills you’ll need:

• Proficiency in networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
• Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server)
• Experience in configuring and managing various server roles, such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and file services
• Familiarity with endpoint security solutions EDR tools, and MDM platforms
• Skills in implementing and managing network security measures, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies
• Experience in migrating on-premises infrastructure to the cloud and integrating cloud services with existing systems
• Understanding of hybrid cloud architectures and best practices for cloud security and compliance
