Role and Responsibilities:
- Architect: Design and build C# code that will connect our in-house Trading System to Advent Geneva
- Lead and Mentor: Guide and support the technical team with code reviews, domain knowledge, and ownership. Foster a culture of learning and innovation.
- Gather Business Requirements: Work closely with fund accountants and other business users to document and understand requirements.
- Hands-On Development: Support and develop RSL extracts from Geneva to our SQL/MDX environments. Provide technical expertise with Geneva-related issues and develop software solutions for both our in-house trading system and Geneva.
- Quality Assurance: Develop secure, high-quality production code, and review and debug code written by others.
What You Will Need for this Position:

- Technical Proficiency:
- Extensive experience with Advent Geneva, including configuration, customization, integration, and RSL generation.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and functions.
- High proficiency in C# .NET
- Ability to perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Strong understanding of relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MDX, or MySQL.
- Certification in Advent Geneva or related technologies.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- SDLC Knowledge: Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and logging techniques.
- Modern Architectures: Deep understanding of coding best practices and modern architectural patterns, including microservices and message-driven architectures.
