HVAC Engineer

Roles are onsite at the FLUOR Greenville SC location supporting the SRPPF project. Pay rate is $94-$133/hour depending on years experience and benefits selected. GSA reimbursable per diem is available for those that qualify.

Looking for 1 Senior level & 2 Principal level Engineers.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Conduct construction document reviews as required
• Plan, organize, and coordinate mechanical engineering and multi-disciplined team/design projects while engaged in the planning, design and construction phases of engineering projects including project startup
• Demonstrate design experience in the area of nuclear industry HVAC design work and design related codes and standards
• Generate and review the accuracy of design/evaluation calculations, and specifications
• Familiarity with computer aided drafting applications is required

Basic Job Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Bachelor of Science in engineering with a minimum of 10 years' experience (nuclear preferred) in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering. Professional Engineer License preferred but not required
• Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to mechanical engineering design
