Structural Engineer- St. Louis

Structural Engineer | 5+ Years Experience

We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our team, focusing on the design and construction of a variety of structures, including medical, commercial, retail, and institutional buildings.

Position Responsibilities:

• Perform structural analysis and design for various building projects.
• Prepare design estimates, proposals, and technical reports.
• Supervise drawing production and collaborate with design teams.
• Interface with clients and conduct occasional field observations.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited U.S. university; FE registration required.
• Master's degree preferred but not required.
• Strong foundation in structural engineering principles.
• Proficiency with structural engineering software like Enercalc and RAM is beneficial.
• Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
• Familiarity with CAD and Revit software is a plus.
• Experience in analysis and design of lateral systems, seismic design, and load path understanding, including foundations, framing systems, connections, and detailing for materials such as steel, concrete, and wood.
• Applicants with up to 10 years of relevant experience will be considered.
