As (High Voltage Battery Engineer) you will be responsible for;
The main experience target for these engineers 7+ years of experience in Design Release Engineering for an Automotive OEM preferably in the area of high voltage busbars, HV connectors, fuses, or other tractive battery pack components and systems.
- Parts procurement, build, and test at all applicable phases per the above table.
- Component design and release at all program phases.
- Complete APQP requirements and TKO.
- Complete Battery Pack teardown, inspections, and root cause analysis for issues.
- Complete DVP&R for approval to build X0 samples off production tools.
- Complete COE Checklists, gDAP, and EDP questions with either Green or Blue Status.
- Complete PPAP and safe launch.
- Complete final validation and support BSOP and VSOP milestones per the above table.
- Manage Tier 1 and Tier 2 (if applicable) supplier milestones and deliverables.
- Schedule applicable supplier meetings at regular cadence to resolve all engineering related open items including but not limited to design reviews, failure analysis, deliverables, sample orders, and manufacturing.
- Volume information is confidential and will be secured during LRP
Qualifications;
- Understanding of fundamentals of Mechanical Engineering, of DFMEA’s and DVP&R’s, of engineering component development.
- Understanding of Mechanics of Materials, Sealing requirements, CAE Analysis, GD&T, Injection Molded Plastics, etc.
- If the Supplier carries out tests, measurements, metrology and/or calibrations within the performance of the Services, its laboratories will have to be in conformity with the standard ISO 17025, or with an equivalent standard which respects the intention of the standard ISO 17025
