This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing SaaS technology company as a Lead Cloud Engineer.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 10+ years of Cloud & DevOps engineering experience
• 2+ years of technical leadership and architecture experience
• Strong GCP or Azure experience
• Kubernetes in a production environment
• Terraform in a production environment
• Helm or similar tool
• Docker
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Deep understanding of DevOps and GitOps best practices and modern SDLC paradigms, including Agile methodologies
• Git command line
• Branching Strategies

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• A player-coach role where you will be a hands-on technical lead, architect, and engineer on our Cloud & DevOps team.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and refine the company's cloud strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Stay abreast of emerging cloud technologies and assess their applicability and potential benefits to our organization.
• Design robust, scalable, and highly available cloud architectures that meet business requirements and align with industry best practices.
• Architect solutions that adhere to security, compliance, and performance requirements, incorporating GCP and Azure platforms.

This opportunity is a contract-to-hire position. You can live anywhere EST, CST, or MST and work 100% remotely. Once a quarter, you may need to travel to Dallas for a team meeting.
