Summary
This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing programs for automation, process improvement, process optimization, safe production methods, cost and waste reduction, operational technical support, and project management.

- Design, develop and enhance electro-mechanical systems
- Create and implement automated production process systems and controls
- Design production processes to maximize efficiency and reduce waste
- Identify areas of weakness in the production line or finished products and implement solutions
- Specify and select required tools, machinery, and systems for automated manufacturing processes
- Project task identification, development & management, including status reporting
- Process Capability Study & Gap Analysis
- Innovation & incorporation of innovative manufacturing tools & techniques
- Special manufacturing focused projects
- Advanced manufacturing technologies
- Manufacturing process flow diagrams
- Manufacturing capability development
- New operation set-up
- Efficient and robust process development for reconciliation and flow down of requirements

Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Automation, or Manufacturing Engineering Technology.
- Minimum of 3 years of related engineering experience within a regulated industry.
- Demonstrated experience in Engineering Print Reading, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, mathematical manipulation and translation of dimensional information, and familiarity with Model Based Definition.

- Language skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public group, and/or boards of directors.
- Mathematical skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts.
- Reasoning: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of information.
- Computer skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
