Job Scope and Responsibilities:

• Strong foundation in chartering, shipbroking, arbitrage freight trading both on physicals and FFA markets.
• Extensive global network of ship owners/tonnage providers and charterers.
• Ability to forge strong relationships with industrial clients and tonnage providers, to actively seek and grow customer base by establishing new accounts, and to secure foothold on key clients/trades.
• Identify business opportunities related to cargoes & tonnage.
• Good understanding of the freight market, and good market judgement requiring intuitive sense, feel and trading experience.
• Operate cargoes & ships, monitor voyage performance and being fully responsible for final P&L.
• Competent in voyage and time charter parties.

Requirements:

• Diploma and above Degree in related studies with minimum 2 years’ experience.
• Excellent knowledge of shipping chartering.
• Able to work in a team environment independently with minimum supervision.
• Must be able to commit extra hours as and when needed.
