The purpose of this position description is to serve as a general summary and overview of the major duties and responsibilities of the job. Role Overview

The Paralegal will be responsible for the creation, review, negotiation and processing of customer and vendor contracts; internal and external relationship management; creation and management of templates; sale and cancellation processing; auditing; and assisting the Legal Department in various projects and task as assigned. The ability to understand and write contract language in a fast paced and ever-changing environment is essential to this position. Critical thinking, attention to detail, prioritization and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with little or no supervision while embodying the Patch Values is a necessity in this role.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Responsibilities)

  1. Infuse the Patch Values into your work ethic, every day and every interaction.

  1. Draft, review, revise and interpret contracts

  1. Accurate contract processing as well as data entry, data audit and critical reporting

  1. Research, interpret and explain contract terms, as well as renewal and cancellation related questions for internal stakeholders

  1. Develop and implement solutions for complex inter-departmental matters

  1. Address requests from other departments as assigned

  1. Manage and collaborate on multiple projects and deadlines

  1. Monitor pricing and approval thresholds and seek executive approval as necessary

  1. Manage, maintain and audit contract database within internal systems

  1. Assist with contractual data verification, process establishment and tracking

  1. Assist with various matters/projects handled by the Legal Department

  1. Provide leadership in strengthening internal communications with staff at all levels throughout the organization

  1. Create and promote a positive and supportive work environment

  1. Other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS (Qualifications)

  1. Bachelor’s Degree required

  1. Paralegal certificate preferred

  1. Experience in legal writing and/or contract administration preferred

  1. Contract Life Cycle Management Software, Conga, Salesforce and/or eSignature platform experience preferred

  1. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

  1. Superior organizational skills and attention to detail

  1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  1. Demonstrate excellence and understand the implications of decisions and actions on segments of the organization outside one's immediate area

  1. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

  1. Ability to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment

  1. Strong mathematical, analytical and problem-solving skills

  1. Experience with process development, improvement and documentation

  1. Must be legally allowed to work in the U.S.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  1. Sitting for extended periods of time; approximately 5-6 hours per day

  1. Simultaneous use of hand, wrist and fingers

  1. Daily operation of standard office equipment

  1. Frequent use of oral communication to perform work

  1. Occasionally lifts and moves up to 7-10 pounds
