The purpose of this position description is to serve as a general summary and overview of the major duties and responsibilities of the job. Role OverviewThe Paralegal will be responsible for the creation, review, negotiation and processing of customer and vendor contracts; internal and external relationship management; creation and management of templates; sale and cancellation processing; auditing; and assisting the Legal Department in various projects and task as assigned. The ability to understand and write contract language in a fast paced and ever-changing environment is essential to this position. Critical thinking, attention to detail, prioritization and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with little or no supervision while embodying the Patch Values is a necessity in this role.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Responsibilities)Infuse the Patch Values into your work ethic, every day and every interaction.Draft, review, revise and interpret contractsAccurate contract processing as well as data entry, data audit and critical reportingResearch, interpret and explain contract terms, as well as renewal and cancellation related questions for internal stakeholdersDevelop and implement solutions for complex inter-departmental mattersAddress requests from other departments as assignedManage and collaborate on multiple projects and deadlinesMonitor pricing and approval thresholds and seek executive approval as necessaryManage, maintain and audit contract database within internal systemsAssist with contractual data verification, process establishment and trackingAssist with various matters/projects handled by the Legal DepartmentProvide leadership in strengthening internal communications with staff at all levels throughout the organizationCreate and promote a positive and supportive work environmentOther duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS (Qualifications)Bachelor’s Degree requiredParalegal certificate preferredExperience in legal writing and/or contract administration preferredContract Life Cycle Management Software, Conga, Salesforce and/or eSignature platform experience preferredProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareSuperior organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrate excellence and understand the implications of decisions and actions on segments of the organization outside one's immediate areaExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesAbility to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environmentStrong mathematical, analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience with process development, improvement and documentationMust be legally allowed to work in the U.S.Kasasa values the importance of flexibility and collaboration. We offer a hybrid work model where you'll join us in the office for at least three full workdays each week, allowing for meaningful in-person connections and teamwork. The remaining two days offer the option to work remotely, providing you with the balance and autonomy to excel in your role.You will be asked to participate in culture related meetings, activities, and events.
